32-Year-Old Topeka Woman Fatally Shot on North Kansas Avenue, Investigation Ongoing
Authorities in Topeka, KS, have identified 32-year-old Jessie L. Grahnert as the woman fatally shot on Sunday evening in the 2000 block of North Kansas Avenue. Officers responded to reports of gunfire just after 8:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Grahnert deceased at the scene, according to Rosie Nichols, the public safety communications specialist for the City of Topeka.
