Liberty Police have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of Christopher Lynn Pilgreen, 37, who was found dead outside Outlaw Jacks bar late Thursday night.
Police responded to a 911 call about a possible shooting just before midnight on Thursday, Dec. 12. Upon arrival, officers discovered Pilgreen lying face down on the concrete outside the bar.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
In the early stages of the investigation, Liberty PD released a photo of two persons of interest in the case, asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
Just before midnight on Friday, Dec. 13, the case reportedly reached a breakthrough with the arrest of one of the suspects.
An arrest warrant for Christopher Jamal Wickliff was issued for Murder, a 1st-degree felony, by the Honorable Judge Chap Cain out of the 253rd District Court.
Wickliff has since been taken into custody. Additionally, an arrest warrant for Crystal Nicole Salinas was issued for Failure to Report a Felony.
