MEYERS LAKE, OH — The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on Thursday afternoon in Meyers Lake. Authorities have identified the victim as 35-year-old Weston Wade, who was pronounced dead at 3:41 p.m. at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital.
The incident was reported to law enforcement at 3:07 p.m., according to Stark County Coroner Chief Investigator Harry Campbell. Sheriff George Maier confirmed the shooting took place at a residence in the 1500 block of DeVille Avenue NW and was domestic in nature. One person was killed in the shooting.
