Myron Lynn Strambler, 45, is currently held at the Harris County Jail, facing charges for the murder of his wife, Alicia Michele Strambler, 40. The incident occurred on the evening of November 27, 2024, at the Moonlight Inn on Airline Drive. Officers from the Houston Police Department's North Patrol Division responded to a domestic disturbance call and found Myron outside the motel room, his shirt stained with blood. He was detained without resistance. Inside, officers discovered Alicia's body, showing clear signs of a violent assault.
Investigators revealed that Myron had called family members after the attack, admitting to the assault. Concerned relatives then contacted law enforcement, leading to his immediate arrest. The charging document states that Myron intentionally and knowingly caused Alicia's death through multiple methods of assault. He allegedly struck her with his hands, which were considered deadly weapons due to the force used, slammed her head against a wall, and used an unknown object during the attack. These actions were deemed clearly dangerous to human life and resulted in Alicia's fatal injuries.
Court records indicate that Myron Strambler has a history of violence, including a prior misdemeanor charge for assaulting Alicia in a separate incident. Additionally, he has a prior felony conviction for the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in Brazoria County, Texas, in 2009. Myron Strambler has been charged with first-degree murder, and authorities are continuing their investigation into the case. He is being held without bond at the Harris County Jail.
