WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. —. In a deeply saddening incident, Purdue University freshman Connor Simmons was found deceased in his dormitory room at Wiley Residence Hall on Sunday afternoon. The 18-year-old from Lafayette, Indiana, had begun his collegiate journey at Purdue just a few months prior and was remembered fondly by friends and educators as a bright young man with a promising future.
